Comment by Tim Davis on Saturday: make sure you don't have any functions assigned to "release switch" in the window. Use the Pitot Heat Toggle command or Toggle Pitot Heat, I can't remember how they word it.

Comment by Tim Davis on May 3, 2013 at 1:29: OK - final update on my fatal error issue: It was the add-on 777 panel I put into my OpenSky/Potsky 777-300. Once I took it back out and stuck the default 737-800 panel back in, no more fatal errors. So my "gold mine" find of a really cool freeware 777 panel didn't work out. And so it goes.

Comment by Tim Davis on May 2, 2013 at 21:07: Update on the UIAutomation.dll issue: If fatal errors occuring with Win 7 or 8 and details window show the cause is UIAutomationCore.dll, then you need to download the VISTA version which will solve the 7/8 64 bit problem. Once again, many thanks to the support guys over at Flight 1.

Comment by Tim Davis on May 2, 2013 at 19:04: Ah - Good ol Google search found it. 64 bit Vista/7/8 systems need the UIAutomationCore.dll file to work with 32 bit FSX. I know my system had it at one time. Hmmm. Oh well, downloaded a new one and installing now.

Comment by Tim Davis on March 29, 2013 at 17:35: Mixture should be full rich for jet flying. Also make sure your fuel pump switches are on, gravity feed not effective at jet altitudes. Are your tanks full? You may have the cross feed set to draw from just one tank and you are running dry. Caa you post a screenshot of you instrument panel the next time this happens? That would help a ton!

Comment by Steve Waite on February 22, 2013 at 6:59: IF works with cloudbase, dewpoint and temperature, but it's a bit granular, just limitations of FSX. Visibility adjustment is in the ballpark but again it's a bit limited. Expect to see improvements with IF v [sf].
